Allan Cooke

Allan has been a lawyer for over 30 years.  He graduated LLB (Hons) from Victoria University and later completed both a Post Graduate Diploma in Child Advocacy (2008) and his PhD – State Responsibility for Children in Care- (2014) from the University of Otago.

Janice Harland

Janice has over 25 years of experience in assisting clients with family and relationship law issues. She is an expert in family law and is well known to the South Auckland and South East Auckland regions for her community work in this area of the law.

Patrick Kannemeyer

Patrick works in three main areas of law - relationship property, domestic violence and the law relating to children’s care and safety. Patrick engages in both private and public law cases.

Ling Ly

Ling specialises in relationship property law. As well as advising clients in respect to relationship property issues, Ling’s work includes advising and acting for clients on spousal maintenance and child support issues, parenting and guardianship, adoption and domestic violence.

Ian Telford

Ian is an experienced family law barrister, specialising in the law relating to children. He has a particular focus on complex care and protection cases, often involving CYF and the Police. He frequently appears in the Family Court and is regularly appointed by the court to act as lawyer for child.
